With a semi-tamed red beard and friendly demeanor, it came as little surprise when, after two years of planning, he said one of his favorite parts of his new store is its windows filled with smudges from passersby trying to get a glimpse of the new store. While work was still being done and few books lined the shelves, in under a month, the scene at the shop will be much different. A soft opening is scheduled for the end of this month and a grand opening to follow on June John is no stranger to literature, too, as he reads hundreds of books each year.

On the weekend of June 23rd and 24th, the store will host its official grand opening weekend. He sounded tired but happy, and eager to learn more about his newly chosen career. Brick & Mortar Books will open at Redmond Town Center in May

After a major bookseller left Redmond, Dan and Tina Ullom missed having a bookstore in our community. The shop is a place you can wander while finding old favorites and new releases. The selection includes both local and national bestselling authors, and the friendly staff enjoys making recommendations. Horizon is Seattle's longest-running independent used bookstore. It opened in , and invites readers to venture down the ramp to discover exciting treasures.

  1. About Brick & Mortar Books. Like many of you, we were disappointed when Borders left Redmond. We have greatly missed having a bookstore in our community.
